Bojan Dubljevic - BuducnostOne of the most promising big men in European basketball switched Eurocup clubs on Wednesday, when Valencia Basket announced the signing of center Bojan Dubljevic to a three-year deal. Dubljevic (2.05 meters, 20 years old) arrives from Buducnost Voli, where he earned All-Eurocup second team honors last season. He averaged 11.5 points on 40.6% three-point shooting, 5.5 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 13 Eurocup games last season, in which his team reached the Quarterfinals. He boosted his numbers up to 16 points on 10-of-12 two-point shooting and 6.5 rebounds in two Quarterfinal games against Valencia. Dubljevic started his promising career at KK Niksic in his nativee Montenegro, joining Buducnost in summer 2009. He was sent on loan to Lovcen Cetinje in 2009-10 before returning to Buducnost the following season. Dubljevic has won back-to-back Montenegrin League and Montenegrin Cup titles with Buducnost, reaching the Adriatic League final four in each of the last two seasons. He has been a member of the Montenegrin U18 and U20 national teams. Dubljevic shined at the 2011 U20 European Championships, averaging 22.2 points and 9.7 rebounds to earn All-tournament team honors.
