TRIUMPH LYUBERTSY tabs combo guard Naimy
Triumph Lyubertsy made combo guard Yuval Naimy its first signing of the new season. Naimy (1.88 meters, 26 years old) arrives from his boyhood club Hapoel Jerusalem, where he averaged 11.3 points, 4 assists and 1.8 steals per game in the Eurocup and 11.3 points, 4.2 assists and 1 steal per game in the Israeli League. Naimy came through the Hapoel junior system and was a teenage reserve on the squad that won the 2004 ULEB Cup. He later spent a season with Rosh Ha'ayin in the second division and played two years for Givat Shmuel before a breakout season at Ashkelon paved his way back to Jerusalem, where he spent the past four years. Triumph becomes Naimy's first team outside of Israel. Naimy is also a member of the Israeli national team.
