CRVENA ZVEZDA announces extension with Nikolic
Uros NikolicCrvena Zvezda announced signing of a two-year contract extension with power forward Uros Nikolic on Thursday meaning that he will stay with the club until the end of 2013-14 season. Nikolic (2.07 meters, 25 years old) arrived to Crvena Zvezda two years ago from Krka Novo Mesto of Slovenia. Last season he had 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12 games of the Adriatic League. Nikolic also added 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 14 Serbian League games. Crvena Zvezda reached the Playoff Finals in Serbia. In 2010, he won the Slovenian League title with Krka Novo Mesto. Before Krka, Nikolic spent three years with Mega Hypo Leasing (now Mega Vizura). Nikolic also has experience from Hemofarm. In 2007, Uros Nikolic won the Gold with U20 Serbia and U20 EuroBasket in Nova Gorica.
