HAPOEL JERUSALEM acquires swingman Fells
Israeli squad Hapoel Jerusalem announced the addition for next season of swingman Courtney Fells. Fells (1.98 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Gilboa/Galil where last season he averaged 12.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in the Israeli League. Fells played college ball in North Carolina St. from 2005 to 2009 and after trying in some summer leagues, he crossed the pond to make his pro debut in Cyprus with Limassol. He then switched teams in that country to Keravnos Strovolou but in January of 2011 he moved to Israel to joing Gilboa/Galil. In between seasons he also played with Metros de Santiado of the Dominican Republic, and in 2011-12 he had another outstanding season at Gilboa/Galil with which he won the Balkan League.
