CRVENA ZVEZDA brings in Morris Almond
Morris AlmondSmall forward Morris Almond (1.98 meters, 27 years old) signed a one-year deal with Crvena zvezda Diva Beograd and shall help the club both in the Eurocup and Adriatic League. Last season he played with the Maine Red Clows of the NBA Development League where he averaged 23.4 points and 6.0 rebounds and finished the season as member of the Washington Wizards of the NBA. He averaged 15.1 points in 121 games for Rice University and was picked by Utah Jazz at 25th position on the 2007 NBA draft. He played 8 NBA games in his rookie season and was sent to the Development League. There he played with the Utah Flash, Springfield Armor and Maine Red Clows, and in 2010 Almond signed for Real Madrid. Later he moved to Scavolini Pesaro, then to BC Cherkasy in Ukraine and was back to D-league in the USA last season.
