TREFL SOPOT lands Sime Spralja
Eurocup debutante from Poland, Trefl Sopot, announced on Thursday the arrival of forward Sime Spralja for the upcoming season. Spralja (2.06 meters, 29 years old) arrives from BC Timisoara of Romania, where he averaged 10.9 points and 4.2 rebounds in 11 Romanian League games. He had started the 2011-12 season with CEZ Nymburk of the Czech Republic and managed to play one single Eurocup game last season. Spralja grew up as a player and made his debut in KK Zadar of his native Croatia in 2000. He played there until 2005, winning the Croatian League in 2002 and the Adriatic League in 2003 in the process. He then switched teams to KK Split and after that, in 2006, he landed in KK Siroki of Bosnia, where he played nutil the summer of 2011, just before joining Nymburk. Now, Spralja will be back to the Eurocup with Trefl Sopot to try to help the Polish team make a good debut season in the competition.
