HAPOEL JERUSALEM adds promising Pullen
Hapoel Jerusalem picked up promising young guard Jacob Pullen, who comes off a spectacular debut season in Europe. Pullen (1.85 meters, 22 years old) averaged 16 points, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals over 32 Italian League games with Angelico Biella last season. He was tied for seventh in the league in both scoring and steals. Pullen arrived in Italy after a standout college basketball career at Kansas State University, where he was the team captain in three of his four seasons. He was twice selected to the All-Big 12 Conference First Team and the All-Big 12 Defensive Team. The last Kansas State player to be chosen to back-to-back All-Big 12 First Teams was Norris Coleman, who was among Jerusalem's biggest stars in the 1990s. Pullen graduated as the Wildcats’ career leader in scoring (2,132 points), three-pointers made (299) and steals (210).
