VALENCIA lands Euroleague champ Keselj
Valencia Basket added a reigning Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion to its roster by inking small forward Marko Keselj to a one-year deal on Friday. Keselj (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Olympiacos, where he averaged 3.9 points and 2 rebounds in 14 Euroleague games last season. He helped Olympiacos to win both the Greek League and the Euroleague titles for the first time since 1997. He also lifted the Greek Cup title with the Reds in 2011. Keselj has also played for Avala Ada, OKK Beograd and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade in Serbia, Akasvayu Girona in Spain and Koeln 99ers in Germany. He helped Girona to win the FIBA Eurocup title in 2007. Keselj has also been a member of the Serbian national team. He helped Serbia to win respective goal medals at the 2007 U19 World Championships, the 2008 U20 European Championship and the 2009 World University Games.
