ASVEL VILLEURBANNE inks forward Keselj

Asvel Villeurbanne bolstered its lineup with the addition of former Euroleague champion Marko Keselj. The forward remains in France after finishing last season with Le Mans. Keselj (2.08 meters, 25 years old) started the season with Valencia Basket in Spain, where he averaged 4.1 points in seven Eurocup games. After joining Le Mans Keselj was worth 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 11 French League fixtures. The previous season he helped Olympiacos to win both the Greek League and Turkish Airlines Euroleague titles. He also lifted the Greek Cup title with the Reds in 2011.
Keselj has also played for Avala Ada, OKK Beograd and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade in Serbia, Akasvayu Girona in Spain and Koeln 99ers in Germany. He helped Girona to win the FIBA Eurocup title in 2007. Keselj has been a member of the Serbian national team at both the junior and senior levels. He helped Serbia to win respective goal medals at the 2007 U19 World Championships, the 2008 U20 European Championship and the 2009 World University Games and reach the semifinals at the 2010 FIBA World Championships.
