KALEV CRAMO inks Moldoveanu at forward

Vlad Moldoveanu – Romania (Photo: FIBA Europe/Ovidiu Matiu)Kalev Cramo Tallinn announced the signing of Romanian forward Vlad Moldoveanu on Monday to a one-year contract. Moldoveanu (2.05 meters, 25 years old) returns to the Eurocup after a one-year hiatus. He made his professional debut with Benetton Treviso in the 2011-12 season and averaged 8.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in the Eurocup for the Italian club. Last season he joined STB Le Havre in France, for whom he tallied 12.3 points and 5.3 boards in 30 French League contests.

Moldoveanu is the son of former Romanian national team players Carmen Tocala and Petre Branisteanu. He decided to play high school basketball in America and later college hoops for George Mason University and American University. He was named to the All-Patriot League First team in each of his two seasons at American. Moldoveanu is also a regular for the Romanian national team.
