ALBA BERLIN brings Jagla back home

Alba Berlin made official on Wednesday the signing of big man Jan-Hendrik Jagla for the next season, meaning that the player will be back to his boyhood club 12 seasons after he made his debut with the team. Jagla (2.11 meters, 32 years old) arrives from fellow German team FC Bayern Munich, where he spent the last two campaigns. Last season he averaged 7.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 38 German League games. Jagla is a veteran of the European courts, having played for several teams and in many countries. Most notably, he was a member of the Joventut Badalona team in the 2007-08 season that won a double crown with the ULEB Cup and the Spanish King's Cup. He has also played in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with Asseco Prokom of Poland for two seasons, and had also played in Greece with Panellinios and in Turkey with Turk Telekom. Jagla played college basketball at Penn State University from 2001 to 2004. He was also a Polish League champion in 2010 with Asseco Prokom.
