ALBA BERLIN completes roster with Kendall

Levon Kendall - PanioniosAlba Berlin completed its roster for the 2012-13 season with the signing of veteran big man Levon Kendall. The contract is for one season with an option for a second. Kendall (2.09 meters, 29 years old) is currently with the Canadian national team preparing for the FIBA Americas Championships, which begin later this week in Venezuela. He will join Berlin after the tournament. Kendall arrives from Spanish side Blusens Monbus, where he has spent the previous three seasons. He averaged 12.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 34 ACB games last season.

Kendall returns to the Eurocup for the first time since the 2007-08 season, when he played for Panionios Athens. He made his Euroleague debut with Panionios the following season and also played in the Euroleague with Maroussi in 2009-10, but that campaign was cut short by an ankle injury. Among his career accomplishments are representing Canada in the 2010 FIBA World Championships in Turkey.
