However, one of those teams won't be Alba Berlin despite the top performance by Reggie Redding, who led his team to a 78-73 Game 2 win over Valencia Basket, but not enough to overcome the deficit from Game 1. With his great game, Redding became the MVP of the week in the Eurocup thanks to a 40 index rating, the most among all winning players this week, and the second time the series between Valencia Basket and Alba Berlin prvides a weekly MVP in Quarterfinals, as Justin Doellman was MVP in Game 1. Redding scored 24 points with almost no miss - 7 of 8 twos, 2 of 2 threes and 4 of 5 free throws -, pulled 8 rebounds, dished 7 assists and drew 4 fouls. Dijon Thompson of Nizhny Novgorod was second in line this week, as he led his team into semis with an outstanding 33 index rating performance, behind 15 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 6 drawn fouls. The top five pindividual performances this week, including all players, were completed by Darjus Lavrinovic of Budivelnik Kiev (index rating 29), Taylor Rochestie of Nizhny Novgorod (24) and Derwin Kitchen of Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem (22).

Individual highs: Justin Doellman, 6 steals

Charles Jenkins of Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade led his team, in front of a record audience, to semis thanks to his 29 points. Redding of Alba followed him with his 24 points and Andrew Goudelock of Unics Kazan had another good night for him with 21 points. Nizhny Novgorod's Thompson led all rebounders with his 13 - 11 defensive and 2 ofensive-. Three more players grabbed boards in double digits: Kostas Kaimakoglou of Unics (11), Ivan Radenovic of Crvena Zvezda (11) and Alba's Levon Kendall (10). Redding also led all passers this week with his 7 assists, completing an allaround outstanding performance. Valencia Basket's Justin Doellman also excelled in defense this week with as many as 6 steals. Finally, two players ranked at the top of the blocks list this week with 3 apiece: Lavrinovic of Budivelnik and Boban Marjanovic of Crvena Zvezda.
