Cantu plans future with Lagana

Pallacanestro Cantu made an announcement on Tuesday it signed shooting guard Marco Lagana to a three-year deal. Lagana (1.97 meters, 21 years old) comes from Angelico Biella where he spent the past four years. He made his Italian League debut in 2010-11, and has played the next two seasons at the same level, but spent last season playing in the second division, and averaged 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game before a knee injury cut his season short. He was also a regular member of Italian junior national teams, helping Italy the gold medal at the U20 European Championship in 2013 with 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 steals.
