CAI Zaragoza gets Landry
Aug 04, 2014
CAI Zaragoza reached an agreement with versatile forward Marcus Landry to work together next season, the club announced Saturday. Landry (2.01 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Baloncesto Sevilla, where he averaged 13 points and 3.3 rebounds in 24 Spanish League games last season in helping his team reach the playoffs. He started the 2013-14 season with Reno of the D-League, before joining the then-called Cajasol Seville in December. Landry has also played for Bucaneros de La Guaira in Venezuela, Shanghai Dongfang Sharks in China, Basquet Manresa in Spain, Maratonistas de Coamo in Puerto Rico, Maine of the D-League, as well as for Boston and New York of the NBA.
"It feels great to reach an agreement with CAI Zaragoza. I am really happy to be part of a club like this," Landry said. "If I had to describe myself in one word, that would be versatile. I can be an all-around player - I have played in all positions, from point guard to center, throughout my career, so I think I can give my team a lot of good things."
