Alba brings back Femerling
Patrick Femerling Alba Berlin brought back a familiar face, welcoming German national team center Patrick Femerling on a two-year contract. Femerling (215, 32) played two seasons in Berlin between 1998-2000, winning a pair of league titles as well as the 1999 German Cup. A Euroleague champion in 2003 with Barcelona, Femerling arrives in Berlin after spending last season with Caja San Fernando Sevilla of the Spanish League, where he averaged 8.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Femerling also has played with Euroleague sides Panathinaikos Athens and Olympiacos Piraeus.
