Galil bolsters squad with Hyams

Hapoel Galil Elyon continues to arm its roster ahead of its debut ULEB Cup season, signings shooting guard Eban Hyams for the next three years. Hyams (195, 26) will become the first Indian-born player in ULEB competitions. His career took shape in Australia, where he played for Blacktown City in the second division in 2003. He later played college basketball in the USA at Coastal Georgia Community College and then Georgia Perimeter College. Last season Hyams returned to Australia, signing for the Singapore Slingers, where he averaged 2.1 points and 1 rebound in nine games.
