Ayinde UbakaTo offset an on-going rash of injuries, Deutsche Bank Skyliners has added point guard Ayinde Ubaka to its ranks on a two-month contract with an option until the end of the season. The rookie Ubaka (22, 193) played this weekend for the German club, which is missing point guard Pascal Roller, shooting guard Jimmy McKinney and small forward Koko Archibong. Ubaka comes to Frankfurt from Energa Czarni Slupsk after playing college basketball at California last season, averaging 13.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists. "[Starting playmaker] Jimmie Hunt needs some relief, and that's why we brought in Ubaka," said Skyliners coach Murat Didin.
