Akasvayu's San Emeterio undergoes surgery
Fernando San Emeterio - Akasvayu Girona Akasvayu Girona forward Fernando San Emeterio underwent cheekbone surgery on Monday morning in Girona, Spain. San Emeterio suffered the injury in the Spanish League game against Real Madrid two weeks ago. If the recovery suffers no incidence, the player will be able to take part in the ULEB Cup Final Eight quarterfinals against Unics Kazan next Friday at 21:00 CET wearing a protective mask. San Emeterio has taken part in all 14 ULEB Cup games this season with Akasvayu averaging 8.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
