Aris TT Bank signs Blagota Sekulic

Sekulic and Savanovic - Real Madrid - Unics Kazan Aris TT Bank stayed as one of the most active teams in the 2008-09 ULEB Cup off-season market by inking power forward Blagota Sekulic to a one-year deal. Sekulic (208, 26) arrives from Real Madrid, where he averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in 19 Euroleague games last season. In his two seasons with Madrid, Sekulic has helped the team to win the 2006 Spanish League and the 2006 ULEB Cup titles. He has also played for PAOK, Maroussi and AEK in Greece, Partizan in Greece and Buducnost in Montenegro. Sekulic helped Buducnost to win back-to-back Yugoslavian League titles in 2000 and 2001, as well as the Yugoslavian Cup title in 2001. He also lifted yet another Yugoslavian League trophy with Partizan in 2003 and is set to become a member of the newly founded Montenegrin national team.
