Maroussi Costa Coffee has extended center Andreas Glyniadakis for another season, the club announced Monday. Glyniadakis (215, 26) arrived in the team last season, in which he averaged 5.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in 37 Greek League games, helping the team to reach the semifinals and be one win away from reaching the 2008-09 Euroleague. He has also played for Kydonas, Panathinaikos, Panellinios, Peristeri and AEK Athens in Greece, Virtus Bologna in Italy, the Roanoke Dazzle and the Albuquerque Thunderbirds in the NBDL, as well as for the Seattle Supersonics in the NBA. He helped Panathinaikos to win four consecutive Greek League title from 1998 to 2001 even when Glyniadakis barely stepped on court. He was a main factor, however, to make the Thunderbirds win the NBDL title in 2006. Glyniadakis has also been a member of the Greek national team.
