One of the best young European centers is returning to Europe now that Kosta Perovic has inked a multi-year deal with Pamesa Valencia. Perovic (218, 23) was a standout player for Partizan Belgrade in his native Serbia for the first chunk of his career. He averaged 10.8 points on 50% shooting, 6.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 20 Euroleague appearances two seasons ago. Last year he traveled to Golden State of the NBA, but would feature in only seven games. Perovic did take part in 21 games for the club's farm team, Bakersfield, in which he posted 9.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots. Perovic has also played for the Serbian national team at the 2006 World Championships in Japan.
