A decisive avalanche of results in Week 4 has produced the first seven qualifiers to the Last 16 - all but two of them thanks to road wins on Tuesday. Unics Kazan, a 77-87 winner at mighty Dynamo Moscow, started the trend, getting 6 three-pointers and 25 points in 19 minutes from veteran Sergei Chikalkin to knock down the Last 16 gates. Some of its road warriors friends happily followed: Red Star, Spirou, Benetton and Pamesa for whom Ruben Douglas hit 7 three-pointers among his 27 points. Two home winners also qualified, BC Khimki and Bilbao Basket, in blowouts. Other winners included two first-timers, Bnei Hasharon and Lukoil, plus several still fighting the good fight: Maroussi, Lietuvos Rytas, Hemofarm, Turk Telekom, Zadar, Fortitudo and Gran Canaria.
