Zadar, coach Aca Petrovic part ways
Aca Petrovic Group A leader Zadar and head coach Aca Petrovic, have parted ways, the club announced on its web site. Petrovic spent parts of three seasons in Zadar, which he joined in March 2007. Denis Pleslic takes over on an interim basis, though management hopes to have a full-time replacement in charge before Zadar's next Eurocup game on January 6 at Maroussi Costa Coffee. Zadar needs one win in its remaining two games to secure a berth in the Last 16. Last year Petrovic led the club to the Croatian League championship and the ULEB Cup Last 16. He previously coached Eurorida Scafati and Bakset Fabriano in Italy, Lleida and Caja San Fernando in Spain, Cibona in Croatia and Anwil in Poland, as well as the Croatian national team.
