Red Star signs Stevic, releases Milosevic
Oliver StevicRed Star Belgrade has signed center Oliver Stevic to bolster its frontline for the remainder of the season. Stevic (25, 205) replaces center Stevan Milosevic, who was released after playing only eight minutes in the Europcup all season. Stevic arrives from Anwil Wloclawek, where he spent the last two months and averaged 8.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in the Polish League. Before that he played two seasons for Slask Wroclaw, including 12 games in the ULEB Cup last season. Stevic helped Slask reach the Last 32 and averaged 8.6 points and 5 rebounds in 12 ULEB Cup appearances. He grew up in the famous FMP Zeleznik basketball school and later played for Borac Cacak and Koper.
