The sixth and last week of the Eurocup regular season arrives next Tuesday, January 13, with almost half of the qualification spots in the Last 16 still up for grabs. Nine teams - Dynamo Moscow, Unics Kazan, Khimki, Benetton Basket Treviso, Turk Telekom, Red Star, Spirou Basket, Pamesa Valencia and iurbentia Bilbao Basket - have already qualified to the next round. Four group champions - Unics in Group B,  Turk Telekom in Group C, Pamesa Valencia in Group G and Bilbao in Group H - as well as Dynamo, which has places second in Group B, know their Last 16 groups are waiting to find out whom all their opponents will be. With eight other teams mathematically out of chances to reach the next round, 15 teams will fight for the remaining seven qualification spots. Four of those 16 hopefuls are facing do-or-die situations in Week 6: Asvel Basket and Lietuvos Rytas in Group D, like Hemofarm Stada and CEZ Nymburk in Group H, will survive if they win, but will be eliminated if they lose. Meanwhile, Benetton and Khimki face each other to decide which wins Group C while Spirou and Red Star are fighting to come out atop Group F. Group A is ready for a wild night, with three teams fighting for two spots, as are Groups E and G, where no teams are eliminated or qualified yet. The stakes and the drama could not be higher. Get ready for the final and most decisive week of the Euroleague regular season!

GROUP A

Group A has three teams tied for first place – Maroussi Costa Coffee, ASK Riga and Zadar – with 3-2 records. Chorale Roanne has no chance to advance at 1-4, but nonetheless hosts Maroussi in a game that will be pivotal game to the grop's outcome. Meanwhile, Zadar welcomes ASK, with the winner advancing to the next round. Maroussi has the tiebreak advantage against Zadar (1-1, +8) but loses any tie against ASK (1-1, -9). Zadar needs to win to reach the Last 16. It will be first if it wins and Maroussi loses, second if it wins and Maroussi wins, and third if it loses. ASK is the only team that depends on its own game to finish first. ASK will win Group A if it beats Zadar, will finish second it if loses and Maroussi loses and will be eliminated if it loses and Maroussi wins. Maroussi wins Group A if it wins and Zadar downs ASK. It is second if it wins and ASK beats Zadar or if it loses and Zadar beats ASK, and third if it loses and Zadar beats ASK.

GROUP B

Both Last 16 qualifications and their final places have been determined in Group B, where Unics has clinched first place and Dynamo Moscow second, while Barons/LMT and Lukoil Academic have been mathematically eliminated.

GROUP C

The last regular season week features a winner-take-all showdown for first place in Group C between host Khimki Moscow Region and visiting Benetton Basket Tamoil, both 4-1 and already qualified for the Last 16. The game's winner will rule this group and its loser will finish second. Besiktas Cola Turka and STB Le Havre finish are third and fourth regardless of the outcome of their game.

GROUP D

After being awarded a 20-0 technical victory in its unplayed Week 5 game vs. Bnei Hasharon, Turk Telekom (4-1) became Group D champion due to its tiebreak advantage (1-1, +9) against Aris BSA (3-2). Aris and Panellinios (2-3) will fight for second place, with Bnei Hasharon mathematically eliminated. Aris would be second and advance to the Last 16 if it wins its last game in Hasharon or if Panellinios loses. Panellinios would finish second and advance to the Last 16 if it can win and Aris loses.

GROUP E

Group E might seem the most complicated, but Week 5 results have led to a crystal clear situation for all four teams with chances to qualify: Azovmash Mariupol and Asvel Basket, both with 3-2 records, as well as Lietuvos Rytas and Kalise Gran Canaria, both 2-3. Azovmash hosts Asvel and the winner will be the Group A winner. Meanwhile, Lietuvos Rytas welcomes Gran Canaria and the loser will be out no matter what. Azovmash will be first if it wins, second if it loses and Gran Canaria wins, third if it loses and L. Rytas wins. Asvel is in a do-or-die situation, as it will be first if it wins and third if it loses. L. Rytas must win to advance, finishing second with a victory and fourth in defeat. Meanwhile, Gran Canaria must beat L. Rytas in Vilnius and hope that Azovmash beats Asvel in order to finish second and make the Last 16.

GROUP F

Red Star and Spirou Basket have both already qualified for the Last 16 in Group F with 4-1 records, while PGE Turow and Brose Baskets have been mathematically eliminated. Spirou has the tiebreak advantage (1-1, +4), so it will win Group F if it wins or if it loses and Red Star loses. For Red Star to win the group, it needs to beat Brose Baskets in Bamberg and hope for Turow to upset Spirou in Charleroi.

GROUP G

Pamesa Valencia (5-0) is already the Group G winner, with Fortitudo Bologna (2-3), Artland Dragons (2-3) and FMP (1-4) fighting for second place, the only Last 16 spot available. Artland has the best situation to advance, since it beat Fortitudo twice and will finish second if it beats FMP at home. If Artland loses, however, Fortitudo wll advance if it beats Pamesa in Valencia. FMP's only chance is to defeat Artland in a blowout and hope that Pamesa downs Fortitudo, too, forcing a three-way tie at 2-4 with Artland. Then, all three teams would also be tied in games among them (2-2 each), so the second tiebreaker, global point differences between the three, would be applied. In such a case, Fortitudo (+25) would advance in second place unless FMP (-10) were to win by 36 points because Artland's current margin (-15) would go down further with another defeat.

GROUP H

Undefeated iurbentia Bilbao Basket (5-0) is the Group H winner. Buducnost (1-4) is mathematically out of chances, leaving CEZ Nymburk (2-3) and Hemofarm Stada (2-3) to fight for second place in a do-or-die game in the Czech Republic. The winner between them will advance in second place to the Last 16.
