Pamesa strengthens roster with Gregory
Kenny Gregory signed with Pamesa ValenciaPamesa Valencia made a final roster adjustment before the Eurocup signing deadline by inking Kenny Gregory. The athletic small forward signed for the remainder of the season. Gregory (30, 197) brings with him plenty of experience at Europe’s top levels, including two seasons in the Euroleague and one in the ULEB Cup. He arrives from Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki and takes the place of swingman Ruben Douglas, who was released earlier this month.

Gregory's athleticism and shooting have made him one of the most efficient players in Europe in recent seasons. He averaged 11.1 points, while shooting 54.3% from downtown, and 3.8 rebounds in 20 Euroleague games for Efes Pilsen of Turkey last season. Before that he spent two seasons in France at Le Mans. Gregory played college ball at the University of Kansas until 2001 and then played in the NBDL with Greenville. He would later spent time at Edimes of Italy and later the Chester Jets in England before going to Le Mans for the 2005-06 season.

"At this stage of my career, I don't worry about my statistics," Gregory said at his introductory press conference on Monday. "I want to help win games. We now have some very important games for the team in the Eurocup and then in the ACB. I hope to do my best until the end of the season."

"Gregory is a player that I know well, who I believe we need for his tough defense," head coach Neven Spahija said. "What I ask of him and the fans is a little patience as it is never easy to punch in a new player like on a computer program. Sure we play [Tuesday], but it takes three days to train with us just to get used to our system."
