Quarterfinal Pamesa Valencia vs. Khimki Moscow Region
One team that previously won Europe's second competition and another looking to match that accomplishment meet in the quarterfinals at 18:00 CET on Friday, April 3, to decide which stays alive in the Final Eight. Pamesa Valencia of Spain, the 2003 ULEB Cup champion, is at the Final Eight for a second consecutive year. After knocking for years at the door of continental success, BC Khimki Moscow Region of Russia plans to knock it down in Turin. Both overcame coaching changes to succeed this season. Pamesa matching the Eurocup's best overall record, while Khimki survived the Last 16 despite injuries. Deep, experienced and well-coached, these teams guarantee a quarterfinal thriller.

Quarterfinal Analyst
MATT NIELSEN
One of Down Under's great basketball exports, all-purpose Australian forward Matt Nielsen will take major responsibility when Pamesa faces Khimki in the quarterfinals. Arriving just before the Eurocup started to join Neven Spahija, his former head coach, Nielsen stepped into and filled a huge role at Pamesa. Now, he awaits a golden opportunity in Turin. "This is not your average game,"
Nielsen says.
Quarterfinal Analyst
MILT PALACIO
From Belize to Russia and many points in between, veteran point guard Milt Palacio of Khimki has gathered experience like he collects assists - quickly - all decade long. All will come in handy when Khimki tries for its first continental trophy at the Final Eight in Turin, starting with the quarterfinal against Pamesa. Palacio will be relied as a catalyst. "We have to execute our plays well,"
Palacio says
