Quarterfinal analysis: Benetton Basket vs. Lietuvos Rytas
Two clubs whose names have tasted continental success already, Benetton Basket of Italy and Lietuvos Rytas of Lithuania, clash in the Eurocup quarterfinals at 21:00 CET on Thursday, April 2 for the chance to keep adding to their trophy cases. Benetton won the last of its two European trophies in 1999, while L. Rytas lifted the ULEB Cup in 2005. Both teams feature deep and talented squads mixed with experience and youth. Both won four games in a row during the Last 16, and if Benetton enjoys the status of being the only Final Eight team playing in its home country, L. Rytas fans travel everywhere. Their marquee matchup promises fireworks - not to mention a winner who will be emboldened to go as far as possible in the Final Eight.

Quarterfinal Analyst
MATTEO SORAGNA
A giant among European basketball clubs has returned to form as Benetton Basket reaches the Final Eight ready to fight for its first continental title in a decade. No Italian team has made it to the semifinals of Europe's second competition for six seasons, and playing in Turin, Benetton will be the closest thing to a home team. Matteo Soragna knows that the opportunity to rewrite club history doesn't come everyday."
Quarterfinal Analyst
M. PETRAVICIUS
One of the best European big men has his second shot to lift Europe's second competition title. Marijonas Petravicius already helped Lietuvos Rytas to make it to the ULEB Cup final in 2007 - and hopes to do even better in the Final Eight. Petravicius has been Rytas' biggest reference in the paint, averaging 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds in 12 games so far this season in just 25 minutes. Petravicius has just entered the prime of his career and is ready to lead L. Rytas again.
