Sluc Nancy inks Lesly Bengabe
Lesly Bengabe (Photo: Alexandre-eymard.fr)Sluc Nancy reached an agreement with shooting guard Lesly Bengabe, who signed a two-year deal with his new club. Bengabe (196, 29) arrives from Stade Clermontois Basket Auvergne, where he averaged 10.7 points, 3.2 assists and 1.6 steals in 35 games in the French second division. He has also played for several French clubs such as Bourg Basket, Olympique Antibes, Rueil-Malmaison, AS Bondy, AS Denain-Voltaire and Ajaccio. He had a breakout 2005-06 season with Antibes, posting career-best averages of 13.6 points and 3.7 assists in 34 French second division games. Bengabe is now ready to help his new team in what will his debut season in European club competitions.
