Last 16 races: Week 6 possibilities
EUROCUP TIEBREAKERS
When all teams have played each other twice:
1.
Best record in head-to-head games between all tied teams.
2.
Higher cumulative score difference in head-to-head games between all tied teams.
3.
Higher cumulative score difference for the entire regular season.
4.
Higher total of points scored for the entire regular season.
5.
Higher sum of quotients of points in favor and points against of each match played.
The final night of regular season play in the 2009-10 Eurocup promises plenty of drama. In all but two of 14 games on Tuesday, one or both teams is playing for survival, first place or both at the same time. Only 9 teams have qualified for the competition's next round, the Last 16, so far. On Tuesday, a total of 14 teams in five groups are taking aim at the remaining 7 open places in the Last 16. In Group A, where Alba Berlin (4-1) has already clinched first place, a trio of 2-3 teams - Azovmash, Galatasaray and Teramo, the latter two of whom play each other - will battle for second place. The other two will be eliminated. Valencia (5-0), which has already won Group B, visits would-be qualifier Le Mans (2-3), who must win or else Triumph and Hemofarm will decide second place. In Group C, it's a first-place battle between already-qualified teams Aris (4-1) and Hapoel (3-1) on the latter's home court. In Group D, there first-place showdown is hosted by Unics (5-0) against Joventut (4-1). In Group E, where Spartak (3-2) must defeat visiting group winner Bilbao (5-0) or hope that Turk Telekom (2-3) loses at Spirou (0-5). Group F has another pair of qualifiers facing off for first place as Crvena Zvezda (4-1) hosts Benetton (4-1). Group G is quite complicated, with three teams - Panellinios, Nancy and Gran Canaria - all tied at 3-2. The Panellinios-Nancy winner will qualify, but the other Last 16 spot depends on Turow (1-4) vs. Gran Canaria and point differences. The situation is even more complicated in Group H, where Biella (3-2) hosts leader Brose Baskets (4-1) while already-eliminated Ventspils (0-5) welcomes Nymburk (3-2). If Brose wins, it qualifies alongside Nymburk, win or lose. If Biella wins, must do so by 18 points to qualify or, if it wins by fewer points, must hope that Nymburk loses. To heighten the drama, all the action in the first four groups - A to D - will tip off simultaneously at 19:00 CET. Likewise, there will be a shotgun start in groups E to H at 19:30 CET. Get ready for the deciding night of the 2009-10 Eurocup regular season!

Gran Canaria can win the group if it wins, Nancy wins and Gran Canaria’s margin of victory is at least 11 points more than Nancy’s margin of victory.
