The 2009-10 Eurocup regular season has ended with seven new teams advancing to the Top 16 on an action-packed Tuesday of Week 6. In Group A, it was Galatasaray defeating Teramo 87-80 behind 25 points from Simas Jasaitis, while group winner Alba topped Azovmash 82-78. In Group B, Le Mans won 80-44 over Valencia, which was previously undefeated, to qualify. In Group E, the honor went to Turk Telekom, a 61-74 winner at Spirou in part because, across the continent, visiting Bilbao eliminated Spartak 88-89 in overtime. In Group G, two winners qualified: Panellinios, by 77-64 over Nancy as Josh Davis scored 23 after halftime, and Gran Canaria, by 70-75 at Turow. In Group H, Nymburk blasted Ventspils 59-85 on the road to finish first while Brose Baskets qualified second in a three-way tie despite losing at Biella. First-place was decided between already-qualified teams in three groups: Aris won Group C, Crvena Zvezda won Group F and Unics, despite losing, won Group D. The results of a few hours on Tuesday left the following Last 16 opponents. In Group I: Alba Berlin, Aris BSA 2003, DKV Joventut, Le Mans. In Group J: Power Electronics Valencia, Unics Kazan, Galatasaray Cafe Crown, Hapoel Jerusalem. In Group K: Benetton Basket, Bilbao Basket, Brose Baskets and Panellinios.
