With four of the six best-ranked teams in the Last 16 so far, Group J is already seeing a big battle for the Quarterfinals. Three of those teams - Hapoel Jerusalem, Unics and Power Electronics Valencia - are currently tied for first place with 2-1 records. Galatasaray, despite ranking third in team performance index rating and having three of the top four individual players in that category, faces a make-or-break situation at 0-3. Hapoel managed to hand Valencia its first-ever Eurocup home loss ever right at the start of this phase. With two home games remaining, Hapoel has a good chance to make it to the Quarterfinals and keep fighting for its second Eurocup title. Valencia, the original Eurocup champion in 2003, bounced back from its initial loss with a consecutive road wins in Kazan and Istanbul. Still, Valencia's two remaining home games are important, as a road loss in Jerusalem could hurt in tie-break situations. First, however, Unics travels to Jerusalem in Week 4 to play a critical game for both teams. Galatasaray must win now, starting in Valencia, and hope other results help it stay live.
