After all was said and done in Last 16 Week 5, there were as many surprises as quarterfinal qualifiers. Only one of two new quarterfinalists won its game, another advanced despite losing, while the only previous one saw its unbeaten season ended at home by an already-eliminated visitor! In Group K, Panellinios advanced in defeat, while Bilbao lost its first all season. The trend against qualifying started on Tuesday with wins by Unics and Valencia that left Group J's qualification spots unfilled. Then in Group L, a thriller won by Gran Canaria was trumped by Nymburk's huge road win, leaving that group unsolved, too. The same was true in Group I, where Aris won in a blowout, but only qualified after Alba stopped Le Mans 83-71 on Wednesday behind 17 points from Blagota Sekulic. As such, five quarterfinal berths remain to be decided in the Last 16's final games next week.

- Le Mans will be mathematically eliminated from reaching the Quarterfinals if it loses at Alba Berlin.

GROUP J:
- Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem will advance to the Quarterfinals with a win over Power Electronics Valencia or a UNICS Kazan loss against Galatasaray Café Crown.
- Power Electronics Valencia will advance to the Quarterfinals with a win over Jerusalem and a UNICS Kazan loss against Galatasaray Café Crown.
- UNICS Kazan will be mathematically eliminated from reaching the Quarterfinals if it loses and Valencia beats Jerusalem.
- Galatasaray Cafe Crown has lost all chances of reaching the Quarterfinals.

GROUP K:
- Bizkaia Bilbao Basket became the first team to clinch a Quarterfinal berth when it won last week. Bilbao can clinch first place if it wins and Panellinios loses at Brose Baskets.
- Panellinios will advance to the Quarterfinals with a win over Brose Baskets or a loss by fewer than 8 points.
- Brose Baskets must beat Panellinios by at least 8 points to remain in contention for a spot in the Quarterfinals.
- Benetton Basket has lost all chances of reaching the Quarterfinals.

GROUP L:
- Crvena Zvezda will advance to the Quarterfinals with a win over CEZ Nymburk.
- Gran Canaria 2014 will advance to the Quarterfinals with a win at Turk Telekom and a CEZ Nymburk loss at Crvena Zvezda.
- CEZ Nymburk will be mathematically eliminated from reaching the Quarterfinals if it loses at Crvena Zvezda and Gran Canaria 2014 beats Turk Telekom.
- Turk Telekom will be mathematically eliminated from reaching the Quarterfinals if it loses against Gran Canaria 2014.
