ratiopharm Ulm kept working hard to put together a competitive roster weeks ahead of its Eurocup return next season by inking shooting guard Carlon Brown to a one-year deal on Thursday. Brown (1.95 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Brose Baskets Bamberg and shined in his only Eurocup game last season. He had 26 points in Bamberg's 70-67 road loss against Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia but a severe knee injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Brown was the 2013-14 Israeli League top scorer, averaging 19.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 31 games with Hapoel Tel Aviv. He has also played for Santa Cruz and Idaho of the D-League.
