Avtodor adds Ukrainian League MVP Lukashov
Avtodor Saratov firmed up its backcourt by signing point guard Denys Lukashov, who was last season's Ukrainian League MVP with Budivelnik Kiev. Lukashov (1.90 meters, 26 years old) averaged 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.7 steals in leading his team to third place. He led the league in performance index rating (22.5) and three-point accuracy (49.3%). Lukashov has also played for Budivelnik Kiev, BC Donetsk and Azovmash Mariupol in his native Ukraine and reached the Eurocup Quarterfinals in 2011 with Budivelnik. He has won the Ukrainian championship once and the Ukrainian Cup twice. Lukashov has previously played for the Ukrainian national team too.
