Quarterfinal analysis: Bizkaia Bilbao Basket vs. CEZ Nymburk
Fans will be treated to some excellent basketball when they tune in to watch the Quarterfinals series between CEZ Nymburk and Bizkaia Bilbao, two teams that share many similar traits. Both squads are led by experienced head coaches, who make full use of their deep rosters. And the two teams ranked first and second in the Last 16 in free-throw shooting. The series marks the second year in a row that Nymburk and Bilbao will meet after the latter swept the Czech champs in the Regular Season last year. Though each team brings back roughly half its roster from those games, Nymburk is far more confident now after surviving the Last 16 for the clubs best European results ever. However Bilbao has been this far before, having gone all the way to the semifinals last season.

Quarterfinal Analyst
RONNIE SEIBUTIS
Ronnie Seibutis in so many ways sums up the Bizkaia Bilbao Basket team. Though just 24 years old, he has experience and is a gifted, all-around player who can take charge if needed or sacrifice for the betterment of the team. After reaching the semifinals last season, Seibutis is taking this one in stride as the club targets Eurocup glory. "One thing is for certain - defense will be the most important thing to win the series," he says. "Everything will start by doing that, no question about it."

Quarterfinal Analyst
PHIL RICCI
Though Phili Ricci joined CEZ Basketball Nymburk shortly before the season began, he soon developed into the club's top interior force. Even as sixth man, Ricci has been able to impact games at both ends of the floor. In the Quarterfinals, as Nymburk faces its biggest challenge yet, Ricci promises to be up to the task. "If we play the way we have played, play good defense and do the things we are used to doing," Ricci says. "we will have a chance."
