Quarterfinal analysis: Gran Canaria 2014 vs. Panellinios BC
One of the most interesting Eurocup Quarterfinals matchups pits two teams against each other that already squared off in the Regular Season: Gran Canaria 2014 vs. Panellinios BC. The two previous meetings were both lopsided affairs with the home teams winning in blowout fashion. After they both survived Group G, one of only two Regular Season groups to provide two quarterfinalists, they surely hoped that it would be the last they'd seen of one another. However now they go at it again in a win-or-go-home situation. Both teams have already produced their best results ever in this competition simply by reaching the Quarterfinals. Now the question is: Whose fans will celebrate club history with a trip to the Eurocup Finals?

Quarterfinal Analyst
MARCUS NORRIS
Veteran floor leader Marcus Norris has seen plenty over four Eurocup seasons with Gran Canaria, but the Quarterfinals are uncharted waters for both. To make the Eurocup Finals, Granca once again meets Panellinios, with whom it split a pair of regular season games. "We played them twice and already know what they do,"
Norris explained
, "but at the same time they know us."

KOSTAS CHARALAMPIDIS
Arguably the Eurocup's top sixth man this season, veteran guard Kostas Charalampidis, who ranks 14th in scoring, second in points-per-minute. His lowest point total: at Gran Canaria, whom Panellinios meets again now in the quarterfinals. "Their main strength is that they play as a team,"
said Charalampidis
. "It is quite difficult to beat a team that plays together like they do."
