Unicaja Malaga improved its backcourt for the foreseeable future by inking playmaker Kyle Fogg, who signed a two-year deal with the Spanish powerhouse on Monday. Fogg (1.90 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Eisbaeren Bremenhaven, where he averaged 18.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 33 German League games, being the competition's top scorer. He started his professional career with Rio Grande, helping it win the D-League title in 2013, and also played for Lapuan Korikobrat of Finland and Port of Antwerp Giants of Belgium before joining Bremenhaven. He was the 2013-14 Finnish League top scorer, averaging 27 points in 29 games. "Other than being a very good offensive player, he has shown commitment everywhere he played," Unicaja technical secretary Carlos Jimenez said. "He can also play defense due to his good physical skills, so we think we is a versatile player who is excited to be part of our project. We believe this could be a good place for him to keep improving."
