ratiopharm Ulm bolstered its frontcourt by inking center Tim Ohlbrecht to a two-year deal on Thursday. Ohlbrecht (2.10 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Enisey Krasnoyarsk, where he averaged 11.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 29 VTB League games last season. He already played for Ulm in the 2014-15 season, averaging 12.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 40 German League games. Ohlbrecht grew up with Bayer Giants Leverkusen and also played for TSV Troester Breitenguessbach, Baskets Nuernberg, Brose Baskets Bamberg, Telekom Baskets Bonn and Fraport Skyliners of Germany, as well as for Rio Grande and Fort Wayne of the D-League and Houston of the NBA. He helped Bamberg win the German League title in 2007 and lifted the D-League trophy with Rio Grande in 2013 and Fort Wayne in 2014. Ohlbrecht is also a regular member of
the German national team. "With Tim, we get a player which we not only know how good he is, but is also an excellent fit to our frontcourt," Ulm head coach Thorsten Leibenath said.
