Unicaja Malaga added fire power to its roster by inking shooting guard Adam Waczynski to a two-year deal, with an option for another season, on Saturday. Waczynski (1.99 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro CAB, where he averaged 14.6 points on 90.2% free throw shooting in 27 Spanish League games last season. He started his career with Wax Torun and also played for several Polish teams such as Prokom Trefl Sopot, OSSM PZkosz Sopot, Victoria Gornik Walbrzych, PBG Basket Poznan and Trefl Sopot before joining Obradoiro in 2014. Waczynski helped Trefl Sopt win back-to-back Polish Cup titles in 2012 and 2013 and is a regular member of the Polish national team, averaging 15.8 points in 6 games at EuroBasket 2015. He played the 2012-13 7DAYS EuroCup with Trefl, averaging 10.8 points on 47.1% three-point shooting in 6 games.
