KK Cedevita picks up big man Pruitt
Shaun Pruitt signed for KK Cedevita (kkcedevita.hr)KK Cedevita added an athletic big man to its frontline over the weekend by signing Shaun Pruitt to a one-year contract. Pruitt (208, 24) arrives from Puerto Rican side Gallitos de Isabela for whom he averaged 8.8 points and 13.4 rebounds in 24 games last season. Cedevita will be his fourth team in Europe after spending time with Czech club Prostejov and Ventsplis in Latvia two years ago and Peristeri in Greece last season. He played college basketball at the University of Illinois, where Pruitt was a teammate of Power Electronics Valencia forward James Augustine. He has also played professionally in China.
