Aris BSA 2003 gets point guard Sloukas on loan

Konstantinos Sloukas – Greece (Photo: FIBA Europe/Harry Zampetoulas)Shortly after securing a spot in the 2010-11 Eurocup Regular Season, Aris BSA 2003 tabbed guard Konstantinos Sloukas on loan from Olympiacos. Sloukas (190, 20) grew up with Mantoulidis in Thessaloniki and in 2008 moved to Olympiacos, where he has seen limited playing time. He participated in only one Euroleague game last season and averaged 4.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 14 Greek League games. As a member of the Greek national teams, Sloukas won gold medals at the 2008 European U-18 Championships and the 2009 European U-20 Championships and silver medals at the 2007 European U-18 Championships, the 2009 World U-19 Championships and the 2010 European U-20 Championships. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals at the European U-20 Championships this past summer.
