Trent Plaisted - KK ZadarKK Cedevita signed big man Trent Plaisted for the coming season, bringing him back to Croatia after playing for Zadar last season. He takes the place of Aaron Pettway, who has been released. Plaisted (211, 24) averaged 8.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks for Zadar in the Eurocup last season. He also recorded 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in the Adriatic League. Plaisted played college basketball at Brigham Young University and started the 2008-09 season with Biella in Italy, but had that stint cut short due to injury. He spent the current preseason with Philadelphia of the NBA.

"We had several options, but we decided to target Trent specifically," head coach Aco Petrovic said. "We need players to fight with Radosevic, Kasun and Zoric in the Adriatic League. We need energy, we need defense… I think he is an ideal player for what we need."
