Union Olimpija adds center Jankovic, playmaker Robinson

Union Olimpija Ljubljana continued an active week by signing center Nikola Jankovic and point guard Justin Robinson. Both players penned one-year deals. Jankovic (2.07 meters, 22 years old) averaged 9.3 points and 6.1 rebounds over 23 Adriatic League games for Mega Leks last season. A decorated player at the junior level for Serbia, Jankovic was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the 2014 U20 European Championship Men after leading Serbia to a bronze medal with 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. That was the third of three silver or bronze medals at European junior championships as well as a silver from the 2013 FIBA U19 Championship for Men that Jankovic won with Serbia. At the professional level, he has played for Charleroi and Verviers-Pepinster in Belgium in addition to Mega Leks.

Robinson (1.88 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Greek side Aries Trikalla, where he averaged 12.3 points and 2.1 assists over 24 Greek League games last season. He has also played for Kolossos Rhodes in Greece, Atomeromu and Falco in Hungary, BC Kyiv in Ukraine, Apollon Limassol in Cyprus and Uppsala in Sweden. Robinson has featured for his native Great Britain at the international level, too.
