Zouros in, Scepanovic out as Buducnost boss
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica hired former Eurocup Coach of the Year. Ilias Zouros as its new head coach on Tuesday. Zouros, 50, takes over from Vlado Scepanovic, who resigned following a loss in the Adriatic League on Sunday. The deal with Zouros is for the remainder of the season. He inherits a team that is 0-4 in the 7DAYS EuroCup and 8-1 in the Adriatic League. Zouros has coached parts of five seasons in the EuroLeague with Olympiacos Piraeus, Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Zalgiris Kaunas. He has also guided Aris Thessaloniki and Panellinios in the EuroCup. It was with Panellinios that he reached the 2010 EuroCup Finals and won the Eurocup Coach of the Year trophy. He has also coached in France (Racing Paris) and Lebanon (Sagesse Beirut) as well as the Greek national team.
