The 7DAYS EuroCup regular season has come to an end! With it, 16 teams advanced to the Top 16 and one of them, Zenit St Petersburg, did it as group champ. In the last round, forward Janis Timma led the team to a home win over Unicaja Malaga to earn weekly MVP honors in the process with a performance index rating of 36. Timma had a career-best performance with 33 points (including 7 of 17 threes), 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in over 38 minutes on court. The 7 threes hit by Timma match the third best mark ever in the EuroCup, as the record right now stands at 9 made threes in a single game, shared by three players. Timma had personal highs with this game in PIR, Points, Offensive Rebounds (5), Blocks and Minutes Played. After Timma, the player with the best personal performance this week was Nizhny Novgorod's Kenneth Boynton, who had a PIR of 31 thanks to his 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (all career-bests for him). Completing the top performances of the week were Miro Bilan of Cedevita Zagreb (29) and Royce O'Neale of Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas (28).
Individual highs: Timma gets personal marks in five categories
Unsurprisingly, Timma was also the best scorer of the week with his mark of 33 points, and he was followed by Boynton with his 31. The next best scoring mark of Round 10 was O'Neale's with his 23 points. In rebounds, Amare Stoudemire of Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem pulled as many as 11 to lead the rankings, only followed by Timma's 10 in the double digits section. Veteran Albert Oliver of Gran Canaria was the best passer this week thanks to his 8 assists, and four more players followed with 7 apiece. Several players also shined in defense, with several having 4 steals each, but under the glasses, Hamady Ndiaye of Unicaja Malaga was in sole possession of the best mark this week thanks to his 5 blocks, a career-high for him.
