Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem bolstered its attack with the signing of high-scoring swingman Malik Hairston for the remainder of the season. Jerusalem announced the deal Monday after the player spent several days training with the team over the previous week. Hairston (1.98 meters, 29 years old) has averaged double figures in scoring over four EuroLeague seasons with three clubs: Montepaschi Siena and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan of Italy and Galatasaray Istanbul of Turkey. Last season Hairston averaged 11.8 points on 47.6% three-point shooting in 10 EuroCup games for AEK Athens. Before coming to Europe, he also played for San Antonio in the NBA, Austin in the D-League.
