Fiat Turin bolstered its frontcourt ahead of its 7DAYS EuroCup debut by inking big man Antonio Iannuzzi to a two-year deal, with an option to extend it until the end of the 2019-20 season. Iannuzzi (2.08 meters, 26 years old) arrives from betaland Capo d'Orlando, where he averaged 8.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 34 Italian League games last season. He started his career with Montepaschi Siena's youth teams and also played for Quid CUS Siena, FMC Ferentino, Bawer Matera and Paffoni Omegna before joining Capo d'Orlando. Iannuzzi has also been a member of the Italian U16, U18 and U20 national teams.
"I am happy to have closed the deal with Turin in such a short time," Iannuzzi said. "I knew that Fiat Turin is an ambitious club and Luca Banchi's arrival gave me the push I needed to seize this new opportunity. It will be a new, motivating challenge. I cannot wait to start."
