Reggio Emilia invests in future with Candi
Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia announced on Thursday the arrival of point guard Leonardo Candi, who signed a five-year deal with the club. Candi (1.91 meters, 20 years old) arrives from Fortitudo Bologna, where he grew up, helped the team earn promotion into Italian second division, and where last year he posted 8.7 points, 2.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1 steal per game. "We add to our roster a constantly developing Italian player, and a young player who already spent three seasons in the second division”, said Regio Emilia sports director Alessandro Frosini. "I'm sure that Leonardo, thanks to his technical skills, physical attributes and character, will also find his place among the top playmakers, and will have a very important role in building our team’s play."
